In eight weeks you'll facilitate powerful sound baths, play your instruments like a professional, bring sound into 1:1 sessions and ceremony, and leave with a business plan and your first offering already on the calendar. Trained hands-on inside Source Sanctuary in Del Mar, with a live remote option.
The calling is already there. What's missing is the training, the confidence, a room to practice in and a plan to share it. That is exactly what this certification gives you. You're not becoming someone new. You're becoming the facilitator you already know you are.
Learning to play is only the beginning. This certification teaches you to play, to hold, to serve and to be booked. You leave with a complete practice, not just a technique.
Hold grounded, ethical space for a group from opening to closing, and design journeys with a true arc: opening, build, peak, integration and close.
Play and layer your instruments with technical control and musical sensitivity, and know exactly why you reach for each one.
Find your niche and your voice, then price, package and market your offerings so the work you love can support the life that makes it possible.
Take your sound anywhere it's called: an intimate private session, a sacred ceremony, a retreat, a festival stage or a room full of people.
Crystal and Tibetan metal bowls: striking, rimming, sustain and chakra notes.
Precision tones for transitions and on-body work, with consent.
Bright, delicate sound to open space, punctuate and transition.
A wash of overtones, played safely, warmed with care and never startling.
Hand, frame and ocean drums: rhythm to ground and guide a session.
Texture and rhythm to activate, clear and call the room in.
Toning, humming and simple chant. No “good singer” required.
Sound is one of the most requested experiences in wellness right now, and a certified facilitator can bring it almost anywhere. Here are the ways graduates can begin sharing it.
Lead community sessions at studios, gyms and wellness spaces.
Offer one-on-one sound healing for deeper, personal work.
Weave sound and breath into the yoga, healing or coaching work you already lead.
Bring sound to retreats, ceremonies, celebrations and corporate wellness days.
Adapt your sound for children, elders and trauma-aware groups.
Devotional work lasts when it's sustainable. Being paid well for your sound is what lets you keep offering it.
The training moves from the inside out: first who you are as a facilitator, then mastery of your instruments, then designing full sessions, and finally building the practice and business around them. Tap any week to see what you'll learn.
One two-hour live session each week, held in studio with a live remote option. Between sessions, short daily practice and homework is where your skills deepen, and every session is recorded so you can revisit technique after class.

Elmira facilitates sold-out weekly sound baths at Source Sanctuary and has guided students through our Reiki I & II certifications.
She teaches the way she plays: with patience, deep listening and a reverence for what happens in the silence between notes. In this training she shares the practice behind every journey she holds, so you can find your own sound.
Erin Lyons is a global spiritual teacher, intuitive channel and healer. As the founder of Source Sanctuary, she created a home in Del Mar where sound, energy and ancient wisdom meet modern wellness, and where practitioners are trained to carry that medicine into the world.
Before answering her calling, Erin built a career in private wealth management at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She brings both worlds into her teaching: devotion to the work, and the grounded business wisdom that lets a heart-led practice thrive. She is also the host of Expanding With Erin.
Come to Elmira's weekly Wednesday sound bath at Source Sanctuary. Lie down, listen, and notice what moves in you. If you leave wanting to know how she did that, you have your answer.
Yes. We teach the music theory you need, and in the room there are rarely “wrong notes.” Voice work is toning and humming, no “good singer” required. Sound healing is about presence and listening first.
Yes. Week seven is dedicated to your niche and business: pricing, packages, contracts, insurance, studio partnerships and marketing. You leave with a one-page business plan and your first offering scheduled.
It's about $106 per live training hour, and it includes four complete skill sets, hands-on instrument time, your training manual, recordings, community, business training and your certificate. It's a one-time investment in a skill you can offer for the rest of your life.
A two-hour live session, plus short daily practice of 10 to 20 minutes and a weekly homework piece. That practice is where the real skill builds.
No prior training is needed. If you love sound and feel called to share it, you are ready. Practitioners with experience will find plenty to deepen their work.
Not to start. In-studio students have full hands-on access to the studio's instruments in class. Remote students follow along with their own instruments where possible. In week three and week seven you'll learn exactly what to buy first and what you can rent or borrow, with optional partner discounts for graduates.
Yes. Every session has a live remote option, and remote students are paired with an in-person partner for feedback exercises. In-person attendance is recommended for weeks five through eight, especially the final practicum, where hands-on time matters most.
Every session is recorded and available for a set window after the training, and an approved make-up keeps you on track for your certificate.
